The Chophouse Penfolds Dinner

The Chophouse has partnered up with Charles Grech to bring to you an experience from down under.

Penfolds has been recognised as the ‘World’s Most Admired Wine Brand’ by Drinks International in their annual poll, following a successful year of honours. Almost 200 international industry experts including buyers, sommeliers, wine writers, Masters of Wine, industry experts and wine critics took part in the poll which pits wine brands from all global regions, styles and qualities against each other.

Our Chef, Marc Coetzee has carefully created a menu to be served on such a special night, paired with a selection of wines from the Penfolds range.

Ceviche of Mahi Mahi marinated in grapefruit & orange, finished off with a cucumber, coriander, chili and grape sauce

Pork fillet with a lime, Koonunga Hill and cream sauce

Chicken roulade with wild mushroom fricassee,
rolled in house-smoked bacon

Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro
Kangaroo fillet with a coffee and lime rub, served with a
Bin 2 Shiraz Mataro jus

Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon
Pichana, Char grilled cap of rump cooked medium
